Welcome to Hillsboro!

Hillsboro is a progressive Kansas community located at the thresholds of the Marion Reservoir and the beautiful Flint Hills. Hillsboro residents enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere, schools that are among the best in the state, and a thriving business community. Hillsboro features plenty of opportunities for work, play and a great quality of life. State Highways 56 and 15 intersect Hillsboro to provide less than an hour’s drive to Wichita to the south, Salina to the north, Hutchinson to the west and Emporia to the east, giving residents and visitors a quiet small-town atmosphere with access to all the amenities of larger cities.

Our Mission

The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development promote and improves the business climate in the city of Hillsboro through its services and partnerships encouraging growth and assisting businesses so they can reach their business goals.

The partnership of businesses, professional people, and citizens provides effective leadership to enhance business and quality of life.
